To inspire a deep love for our country and our company and further strengthen employees’ cohesion and sense of unity, a solemn flag-raising ceremony and employee oath-taking event was held at 10:00 a.m. on July 18, 2019, in front of the Hebei Dongfeng Shijing Company building. Nearly 500 representatives of the company’s leadership and staff attended the ceremony, which was presided over by the company’s principal. The vibrant Five-Star Red Flag, the environmental protection flag, and the Group flag were hoisted one after another to the stirring strains of the National Anthem of the People’s Republic of China, as all employees stood at attention. Under the resounding music and the reverent gaze of everyone present, the flags slowly ascended into the sky and fluttered proudly in the wind. Following the ceremony, the company’s leaders and all employees faced the national flag, the environmental protection flag, and the Group flag and solemnly took the following oath: “I am a member of the Dongfeng family; I love the Party, I love my country, and I love Dongfeng. I will conscientiously abide by all company rules and regulations and fulfill my job responsibilities. I will design with care, manufacture with dedication, dare to innovate, and strive tirelessly. I will work hard to achieve the Group’s annual output value target of RMB 1 billion and to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.” The powerful, resonant voices echoed long after the ceremony, showcasing the fresh spirit and ardent patriotism of the Dongfeng workforce, bolstering employees’ confidence and determination to perform their duties well, and reinforcing their sense of responsibility, mission, and pride. This provided a strong spiritual foundation for the Group to comprehensively accomplish all its objectives and tasks for 2019.
