Aug 27,2019
Since China launched the Belt and Road Initiative in 2013, Dongfeng Shijing Rail Group has responded proactively, collaborating with state-owned enterprises to participate in the construction of dozens of projects along the Belt and Road routes. By delivering high-standard, high-quality flagship demonstration projects, the Group has accelerated the internationalization of its product quality and service processes, truly achieving win-win cooperation and shared development. These efforts have earned high praise and widespread recognition from domestic and international clients.
The broad ranks of employees at Dongfeng Rail Group have actively fulfilled their social responsibilities, demonstrated patriotic commitment, and seized opportunities. They feel deeply honored to participate in infrastructure development along the Belt and Road countries, have lived up to their mission, and have meticulously designed, manufactured, rigorously inspected, and delivered on time, thereby successfully completing the export project.
Since the beginning of this year and as of early May, Dongfeng Rail Group has signed export contracts with central state-owned enterprises totaling more than RMB 30 million, representing 50% of the group’s total export contract value to date. These contracts cover projects in three Southeast Asian countries—Indonesia’s Jakarta–Bandung High-Speed Railway, Malaysia’s Expressway, and Cambodia’s Phnom Penh–Sihanoukville Expressway—and include products such as cable-stayed formwork systems, hydraulic box-girder inner and outer formwork, pier column formwork, static load testing rigs, and corrosion-protection components for railway concrete girders.
Dongfeng Rail Group has thrived and grown stronger through reform. Over nearly two decades of innovative development, the company has focused on the manufacturing, R&D, and sales of intelligent models, tooling, components, and equipment for road, bridge, and tunnel construction. As a state-owned enterprise, Dongfeng Rail Group is a pioneer and main force in the Belt and Road Initiative, enjoying distinct advantages in areas such as capital, projects, information, technology, and talent. To date, the group has established robust partnerships with numerous leading SOEs, including China Railway, China Communications Construction, AVIC, China State Construction, China Water Resources, China National Building Material, and China Harbour Engineering, thereby providing services for infrastructure development both domestically and internationally.
